A car needs regular maintenance for its smooth running and following types of maintenances are recommended on regular intervals while making an auto maintenance budget.

·         Brake Maintenance: Braking system of a vehicle is one of the hardest working systems in it. To halt a thing as heavy as a car produces a lot of friction and generates heat so certain areas of a braking system needs regular replacement and maintenance. Replacement of brake pads and brake fluid flush are two most common things need to be taken care of. Brake pads should be replaced between 25,000 to 50,000 miles run and brake fluid flush should be done after every 2 years on an average.

·         Tire Rotation: Front and back tires of any vehicle bear different load so it is very much advised to rotate your tires position after every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

·         Wheel Alignment:The wheels of a car are set to a particular angle and misaligned wheels can damage your vehicle. So it is recommended to get your wheels’ alignment checked after every two years or whenever you get new tires.

·         Wiper Blades: Get your wiper blades checked before the start of each season.

·         Heating and Cooling System: Get the heating and cooling systems of your car checked at the start and end of every summer and winter season.
