What is the
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana?
The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was
launched in 2015 with much pomp and show. It was labelled as one of the
ambitious schemes of the Central Government.
The intention of the PMAY scheme was
to build 2 crore affordable homes with eco-friendly technologies.
PMAY’s tagline is to provide
affordable ‘Housing for all by 2022.’
The PMAY also has the provision to
offer credit linked subsidy scheme (CLSS). Under this, PMAY subsidy benefits of
up to 6.5% and Rs.2.67 lakh was segregated into 4 income groups.
Individuals without a pucca home anywhere in India are
eligible to apply for the PMAY scheme.
Such candidates/households with a yearly income ranging between Rs.3 lakh and Rs.18 lakh are eligible to apply.

your name in the PMAY list?
After completing the PMAY
application procedure under the PM Awas Yojana, you must have been allotted a
reference number.
You can then track the PMAY status

How to check
your name in the PMAY list rural?
1. Land on the official website of
the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.
2. Choose the ‘Stakeholders’ option
from the main menu.
3. Hit the ‘IAY/PMAYG Beneficiary’.
Now, you have the alternative to
check your name in the PMAY list rural using 2 ways:

With Registration Number
You need to enter the registration
number in the allotted field and click on the ‘Submit’ button. If your name is
included, it will be displayed.

Without Registration Number
If you don’t have a registration
number, go for the 2nd option, such as the ‘Advanced Search’.
Provide the details as required, like the name of your state, district, block,
panchayat and more. Once done, the system will ask you to enter your name, BPL
number + A/C no, sanction order, and father/husband name. After filling up all
details, hit the ‘Search’ button, and then look for your name in the PMAY list.
How to check
your name in the PMAY list urban?
1. Visit the official website of the
PM Awas Yojana urban.
2. Go to the ‘Search Beneficiary’
option, and choose the ‘Search by Name’ alternative. You have to do that from
the drop-down menu.
3. Feed the first 3 characters of
your name as mentioned in the application form and click on the ‘Show’ button.
4. Once done, you will be able to
see results on the screen. You can check out the same and search your name in
the PMAY list.
